Graduation Dinner 2018

The MSc Graduation Dinner of the Department of Computer Science was held on 6 December 2018.  It was the first time that we held Graduation Dinner of the two programmes (MSc(ECom&IComp) and MSc(CompSc)) together.  More than 200 graduates, guests and teachers attended and had a memorable evening. 

The dinner began with speeches from Dr KP Chow, our Programme Director, in which he greeted and congratulated all graduates for their great achievements after putting in so much effort over the past 2 years. This was followed by the speech delivered by Professor TW Lam, Head of Department of Computer Science.  Professor Paul Cheung, former MSc(ECom&IComp) Programme Director, also shared his experience of managing the MSc(ECom&IComp) Programme for the past 19 years.

Representatives from the MSc(CompSc) Alumni Association and MSc in ECommerce and Internet Computing Alumni Association encouraged graduates to explore the social networking opportunities and join the alumni association.

Special thanks to Miss Anna Tao and Mr Nixon Chan representing MSc(ECom&IComp) Class 2018 as the MCs of the dinner.

A big “Thank You” to the Programme Management Team for sponsoring the drinks, and Professor Paul Cheung and the Alumni Associations for donating gifts for the lucky draw.
