Admission 2013 - Quick Facts

To help you make a decision, here is a summary of the facts and details you will need - programme schedule, programme fees, application deadlines, and information sessions.
 

Programme Schedule

The MSc(ECom&IComp) programme is offered in both part-time and full-time mode.  Class commences in September, and runs throughout each year.  Students attend classes on weekday evenings and sometimes whole-day or half-day on Saturdays and Sundays.  Each module consists of 30 contact hours.  Some may have more if there are additional lab-based activities, videoconferencing lectures and tutorials. You may be prepared to spend approximately another 90 hours for class preparation, review and assignments.

Programme Fees

The cost of the programme is comprehensive and includes tuition, textbooks, free access to HKU Libraries and sports centre and the use of University Health Service.  Parking costs are not included.

For 2013-2014, the programme fees of the programme are: HK$129,600.

To be considered for a round, you must submit a complete application on the day of the deadline, including all online materials and mail-in materials. If you submit an application earlier in a round, which we encourage, you will have more time in which to schedule an interview. (Interviews are by invitation only.) Applications received after the deadline are rolled to the next round.  Late applications will only be considered subject to space availability.

Information Sessions

Information sessions provide an opportunity to hear more about the programme from faculty, students and alumni. Information sessions for 2013 will be organized from January 2013 to April 2013 in Hong Kong. For dates and locations, and to register online, go to the Information Sessions section.
